Swallowtail Architecture beat out the competition and was voted best architectural firm in Charleston by the readers of The Post and Courier. The Charleston Choice Awards are voted on annually by The Post and Courier readers. Thousands vote on an array of professional service categories, as well as Food and Dining, For Kids, Real Estate, Arts, and other Lowcountry favorites.

The contest started in the early summer when Swallowtail Architecture was first nominated as one of the top architectural firms in Charleston. The voting phase narrowed down the nominations to the top firms, and then in late summer a new voting window started for the finalists. Swallowtail was selected by readers as “Best” in the Architecture Firm category among ten other top architectural firms in Charleston.
A special publication containing the winners was included in the Sunday, September 16 issue of the Post and Courier. A fabulous and fun night of celebration to honor the award winners occurred on September 20th. The celebration event featured tastings from Charleston’s Choice restaurants, local wine and spirits, and live entertainment.
