Currently on the boards is the design for an elevated home on Kiawah Island with two additionally stories.  Classic coastal detailing with metal roof, board and batten siding, and cedar shake details describe the exterior finishes punctuated with many large windows that will flood the interior spaces with abundant natural light and give way to the views.  The large home has an open concept main floor living with premium finishes including wide plank flooring, custom kitchen cabinets, wall cladding with nickel gap boards, tall baseboards, and distinctive lighting fixtures.  There will be an expansive porch immediately off the living room, with the pool immediately beyond the porch.  The adjacent open deck adds additional outdoor recreation space and the folding window from the kitchen the overlooks the space makes it easy to hand food or forgotten grilling tongs outside.  Each of the bedrooms has an en suite bathroom with interior finishes selected for each to bring character to the individually spaces, while maintaining a cohesive design scheme of serenity in the natural and beautiful setting of Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
